Article Marketing - How to Do It the Right Way
Article marketing consists of getting your content up and out on the web in such a way as to be found by the most people. When other people use your articles in their newsletters or feature your work on their site, you get more exposure.
At the same time, you can use content by other writers to bring extra value to your readers.
Of course, there are rules to follow. If you use either an entire article from someone else, or quote them at some length, you must be sure to credit that author. Give the same sort of reference you would if you were writing a term paper: author's name, URL, and date of publication. Don't change another writer's content. If you add an observation, be sure it is absolutely clear that the observation came from you and not someone else.
Out of sheer courtesy, don't use someone else's work and then criticize it! You wouldn't like it if someone took something you wrote and put it up as an example of what NOT to do, or announced you were completely incorrect in everything you said!
If you disagree with something, it's okay to say so, but don't post it on your site! Better to find an example of something you do like and leave it at that.
