Strong Leadership Will Make for A Strong Business

Providing leadership for your team is of obvious value. People who are trying something new want to know that they have a reliable guide and mentor. They need information, inspiration and inclination! Being there for others involves staying on top of trends, taking calculated risks, and being willing to lead by example.

Still, the most brilliant of teachers needs a key ingredient: people to teach! In the world of network marketing, how do you establish yourself as an authority? Do you have to be the world’s top expert in your field? Absolutely not.

Don’t sell yourself short as to what you may have to offer. It’s not always the person who knows the most that is the strongest leader. It is the one who is willing to teach others what they do know. It’s the person who brings together people with various areas of expertise to offer training so that everyone comes out ahead. A good leader is unselfish. Share your knowledge and know-how with others.

I have been surprised by some of the feedback I have received to various articles I have posted on the web. The response is frequently most enthusiastic to my most basic how-to pages. I do encourage you to look into the free network marketing training available at Renegade University where I would be honored to serve as your guide.

I am anxious to get to the nuts and bolts of how to build a website, or how to use internet based affiliate marketing to boost your income. But I felt it was important to begin at the beginning in case there were readers who were truly starting from scratch.

Many of my clients are baby boomers, like me, who have had limited experience with today’s technology. The kid down the block can do it, but we baby boomers have to learn! My point is that I get thank you comments on pages having to do with setting up a filing system for online files! Things I feared might be insulting they were so elementary in nature. But then I remembered it’s not elementary when you’ve never had to do it before!

My brother was in charge of a federal court division that housed some of the top computer experts in the world. He was responsible for developing a cutting-edge program used across the country today. But he never actually touched a computer – he had people for that! To run a business from home, he needs a network marketing guide (like me!) to show him which tools will best help him learn something everybody assumed he’d known for years!

As you pursue your marketing education, you will be amazed at how much you will learn. So much of this is new, in terms of how to run a business, there are plenty of other people out there who will welcome benefiting from your experience, however limited it might be. And don’t forget, your knowledge base will continue to grow.

Be willing to stand up and take the first step. Remember back in school when the teacher would ask if anyone had questions? No one would say a word. Then one student would say, “This may be kind of stupid but…” Everyone else would sigh with relief and mutter, “That’s exactly what I was wondering too!” It takes a leader to be the one to ask the questions. And then present the answers all over the internet!

Be that leader and apply what you have learned to your own business and for the benefit of your team.
